T/N:  During Setsubun on Feb. 3rd, a fun pastime of bean throwing is done to ward off demons (bad luck) and usher in luck for the year. While throwing the beans, one says the phrase “Oni wa soto, fuku wa uchi!” which literally means “Demons out, fortune in!”
Chika makes a pun with Riko’s surname ending with “uchi” (meaning “in”), and says “Oni wa soto, Sakurauchi,” so literally “Demons out, Sakura in”.
