With the short rainy season past,
A lot of the days are sunny here in Uchiura
The brilliance and heat of the sun lights up the mountain’s greenery,
as if it’s burning.

Everyone introduces Uchiura as a ‘coastal city’, and the deep blue ocean nearby really is it’s pride. It’s wonderful, but –

If I shift my gaze to the mountains, I’m met with even more beautiful, green scenery. And along with the sky and the sea, it really fills me with the radiance of summer.

The summer smell –

it’s enough to make you choke.
I get premonitions that something’s going to happen, and my heart starts racing.

But, looking at the view before me,
Suddenly

–

It’s such
Such a wonderful place, and yet
Somehow, the amount of people living here is decreasing

–

I unintentionally start thinking that.

Even with the beautifully shining scenery of Uchiura’s summer –

if you look beyond that, the road is sparse with the shadows of people.

At this time,
I recall what Chika-chan said.

“Even if our school closes –

even if it really disappears, I want everyone to know that, right now, we are here! –

our school was right here!”

Being raised up here in Uchiura with its dazzling scenery, the smiles of Chika and all the members of Aqours really do shine the brightest, like the sun itself! ♡

No matter where people are –

smiling like that,
So that it reaches even the people living in a faraway city
