T/N: Chika-chan first says suki, then daisuki, then finally aishiteru yo, all of which mean “I love you” (except suki which you could render as ‘like’), but they’re progressively more emphatic expressions of love. In English we only have one word which is “love”, but I tried to convey the same progression by using that idiom for aishiteru ^-^
