Do you ask for the artists’ permission before posting their art?

I’ve already answered to this time ago, but I’ll answer again. I’ve been on this site for years and I’ve been following the artists I’ve discovered in Pixiv/Twitter for years. I know who doesn’t mind their art posted in other sites and who doesn’t permit it. The ones who don’t permit the repost write this in their own Pixiv o Twitter page. Some of the artists have changed their mind over the years on the repost on other sites and viceversa. So what I do is to check regurarly what’s the artist’s will in their profile page. Plus if one artist has a tumblr I reblog from their tumblr. When I see on my dashboard reposts of an artist that doesn’t allow the repost I simply don’t reblog the image. And in regard of this, it seems that a lot of blogs don’t even bother to check what’s the artist’s will. Did you ask them the same question as well?
